Luanne H. writes, "We hired a local catering lady to do our cake. She showed up 45 minutes late, and THIS IS THE CAKE SHE PRESENTED TO US!!!

Yep, I'd say that's a wreck that deserves all caps and three exclamation marks, Luanne. Condolences.

Jessi H. writes, "When I showed the baker this cake, her literal reaction was, 'That's it? That's all you want? That's so simple!'"

Hey, confidence is good, right?
Unless of course it's on THIS blog, so... BUCKLE UP.

Please, Jessi, do go on.

"The day of the wedding, during the cake cutting, we joked about how we really didn't know how to cut it, but it didn't matter because we couldn't possibly make it look worse."

Ahh, but then...

They took the greenery off.

And finally, Stevie R. writes: "I paid $400 for this..."

"...and got this:"

Thanks to Luanne H., Jessi H., and Stevie R. for sharing your pain. And to the rest of you, don't you have a wedding wreck to send us?!

P.S. The season is rapidly approaching...

..to hang funny-but-menacing yard signs!
They're both metal, and only $10 for the set.

And from my other blog, Epbot:

Sunday Sweets Goes Shopkins

I may be the last person on this particular bandwagon, but I was watching that new organizing show on Netflix when I heard Neil Patrick Harris mention "Shopkins" toys, so of course I had to google.

Y'ALL. Apparently my taste is in line with 2-6 year-olds (no surprise there) because these toys are so cute!

Not only that, there are so many squee-worthy Shopkins cakes out there:

C'mon. This is adorable even you don't know what Shopkins are, right?

Most Shopkins seem to be food:

Although there's also a random lipstick that's pretty popular:

They're very Kawaii, with bright pastels and sweet cartoony faces:

It's hard not to smile when you look at this!

I love the shading on this one:

Each cookie is its own little painting!

And here's a cupcake castle:

This popcorn might be my favorite:

Or wait, maybe the cake?

These colors make me happy. :)

And finally, here's a gravity-defying design that really... ::sunglasses:: ... stacks up:

Awwww yeah. So sweet!

I hope these made you smile, gang, and that your week is as sweet as a stack of Shopkins.

I went looking for the actual Shopkins miniatures and was immediately overwhelmed. THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY, YOU GUYS. But look what else I found:

Adorable Shopkins Pillow Plushies! D'awwwwww.
Does anyone want us to redo their kids' room in Shopkins theme? I really want to build a big fruit cart/grocery mart play place full of these pillows.
